NVQ Courses Offered

NVQs are qualifications which recognise, and ensure, the knowledge and skills your staff demonstrate in their job meet established industry standards.

Pre-NVQ in Health and Social Care- This course is designed for people interested to start a career in the Care sector. The duration of this course is approximately 2 weeks including practical placement. The course gives you knowledge on the principles of care and relevant legislations that govern the sector.

COURSE	TARGET GROUP	DURATION

NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2	This course is aimed at Care Assistants & Support Workers working within the care industry.	3-6 months

NVQ Health & Social Care Level 3	This course is for Senior Carers, Domiciliary Carers and Carers in a supervisory care position or with some responsibility	6-9 months

NVQ Health & Social Care Level 4	This course is designed for Senior carers, Domiciliary Carers, those working within care management and deputy care management positions.	9-12 months

Leadership and Management Course	This aimed at managers of social care service provision and nursing staff who want to offer improved service to their customers and clients.	9-12 months

NVQ in Customer Care Level 2-3	This course is designed for individuals or organisations striving to delight their customers, exceed their expectations and set themselves as employees or organisation apart from the competition.	3 months

NVQ in Business Administration Level 2&3	Provides good working knowledge and understanding of an Administration occupation. The course demonstrates an employee's ability to perform a range of tasks with some guidance or supervision. Students are expected to be in employment to fulfil this qualification.	3 months

Adult Literacy/Numeracy	You can use your Maths and English courses to help you achieve a nationally recognised Certificate in Adult Literacy or Numeracy. They measure skills at an equivalent level to other national qualifications.	3 months
